We're always looking for new ways to minimise our CO2 emissions and reduce operational waste. In 2008, Belron® worked alongside KPMG in the UK to calculate and publish the carbon emissions from a windscreen replacement versus a windscreen repair. It was an industry first. After an in-depth analysis of the two processes, results indicated a repair emits 4kg of CO2, while a replacement emits 39.1kg – that's 9.8 times as much.

This research backs up our mission to repair wherever possible. We plan to continue investigating this process, offering insights and guidance to our operations across the globe.
