» 2002 PRESS RELEASES BELRON acquire Darma SpA of Italy 01.07.02 BELRON completed the acquisition of Darma SpA, Italy's leading independent vehicle glass repair and replacement business on 28th June 2002. Darma, who trade under the AUTOGLASS® brand name, is an exciting addition to BELRON's portfolio of businesses. Italy has the second largest car parc in Europe and is therefore a key market for BELRON. Darma and BELRON have worked closely together over the last eight years. The Darma business currently operates through a network of 47 branches and turnover in 2001 was approximately 30m Euros. Fabrizio Panicco will remain as General Manager and will report to the CEO of BELRON with whom he has a long standing relationship. » Print this page |
