BELRON People

The ability to develop and sustain effective long-term relationships with key stakeholders, such as customers, suppliers, the media.

Being genuinely interested in the success of the whole enterprise, not just one's own area of responsibility.  

Leadership
The ability to articulate and communicate the BELRON/business unit vision and to inspire and motivate others in achieving the vision.  

Developing Talent
Supporting the learning and development of others to meet the needs of BELRON and to further their personal career success.  

Personal Development  
One of the main reasons for taking so much time and care over personal development is because people are important to us and because of the impact they have on results.

We therefore expect all our leaders to take their personal development seriously and we support this through:


  • continuous coaching and external monitoring
  • working on international project teams
  • working in other countries or business units
  • spending time at internationally-renowned business schools like INSEAD, Cranfield and the London Business School
  • designing and running our own tailor-made development programmes
In addition, we try to create a work environment which celebrates diversity and encourages people to find the right work/life balance.  

Performance Review   
We have an annual performance review process where the performance of every BELRON leader (including the CEO) is assessed against leadership competencies. This review process includes 360 degree feedback from colleagues, the person's team and their leader. Following the review, objectives for work and personal development are agreed.
