Thanks to his attentiveness, he realised that some customers find it difficult to specify their glass damage on the phone. This can lead to the wrong type of appointment being made and then having to be rescheduled, which is both inefficient and inconvenient for customers. Determined to improve the process for glass damage identification, he discussed the problem with a friend at Bosch. Together, they developed a glass scanner smartphone app to identify different forms of damage. With a simple shot, customers are able to categorise their glass damage independently and so set up the right type of appointment. This idea is an excellent starting point for individually tailored and direct customer support as well as making a significant contribution to efficient resource planning.
