Ronnie Lubner passes away
It has been announced that Ronnie Lubner, Life Chairman of Belron, passed away on 27th December in South Africa, after a short illness. He was not only the Ron in Belron, but he encapsulated the very essence of the Belron organisation, with his kindness, generosity and care, accompanied by a brilliant sense of humour, and an incredibly sharp business mind. He joined the PG Group, in South Africa, as a young 19 year old, 65 years ago, and led the business to great heights in South Africa, and then embarked, in the 1970s, on an expansion drive, internationally, to develop the world’s largest automotive glass repair and replacement company. The foundations that he laid, have enabled us to build the Belron of 2018 and beyond.
