Carlos Brito

Chief Executive Officer

Brito joined Belron as CEO on 1 March 2023. He spent 32 years at AB InBev and was CEO from 2005 until 2021. Over these 15 years, Brito transformed AB InBev into the world’s largest brewer, with a portfolio of brands including Budweiser, Corona and Stella Artois.

He grew the market capitalisation of AB InBev from $26bn in 2005 to $141bn in 2020. He has a strong commitment to investing in people, environmental stewardship and doing business responsibly. Born in Rio de Janeiro, Brito has lived in Brazil, Germany, Canada, Belgium and the US and now the UK.

He is a member of the Stanford GSB Advisory Council and the Reditus Board of Directors, a private endowment that supports students and alumnae from the Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro. Brito worked for Shell Oil and Daimler-Benz, prior to joining Brahma (Ambev) in 1989.

Brito has a degree in mechanical engineering from the Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro and an MBA from Stanford University Graduate School of Business.

Humphrey was appointed to his role of Group Chief Financial Officer at Belron in April 2020. Humphrey brings a wealth of financial experience, most recently at Marks and Spencer Group plc, where he was Chief Financial Officer.

Prior to this, he held the role of Group Finance Director at Dixons Carphone plc, having spent over ten years in various global roles at the business.

After graduating from the University of Warwick in 1987, he joined the finance department of Cadbury Schweppes. Here he spent nine years, before moving to Coca-Cola Enterprises for a further eleven years, in a number of senior finance roles. Humphrey is currently a Non-Executive Director at Taylor Wimpey plc, where he chairs the Audit Committee and is a member of the Nomination Committee.

Richard is responsible for Supply Chain, Operations, Sales, Marketing, Belron Technical and Insight and Service Design for the group. Richard joined Belron in 2010 as Group Supply Chain Director, adding Group Operations responsibilities in 2011. In early 2014 his functions were expanded to their current scope as the Group established the Customer function with the objective of creating a true customer-driven, cross-functional way of working in Belron.

Prior to joining Belron, Richard spent 16 years at Unilever. He has worked across all Supply Chain functions including Manufacturing, Logistics and Purchasing, as well as cross-functional roles in HR and Corporate Planning. His Fast Moving Consumer Goods experience covers all the main categories of Unilever’s business, from Home & Personal Care products to Foods and Ice Cream. Richard also worked for a short time in Consultancy, joining OC&C Strategy Consultants in 2001.

Richard gained an MBA from INSEAD in 2000 and a BEng degree in Aeronautical Engineering from the University of Manchester in 1993.

Susan was appointed to the role of Chief People Officer in February 2019. She is responsible for developing and executing a strong people and leadership agenda in support of Belron’s ambitious goals and to ensure a culture that values our employees and their diversity. Susan is also responsible for leading Belron’s approach to ‘Doing Business Responsibly’ which is an integral part of the company’s purpose and vision. This is captured in the Responsible Business Framework, which has two strategic pillars, delivering Sustainable Products & Services and Investing in People and Society. Susan is also a Trustee of the Belron Ronnie Lubner Charitable Foundation.

Susan brings over 29 years of HR Leadership expertise in global organisations. Prior to Belron, she was Senior Vice President & Chief Human Resources Officer for Avon Products Inc, a global Beauty Direct Selling and FMCG organisation, managing significant change and transformation. During her tenure she played a key role as part of the Executive Team in driving the company’s organisational effectiveness priorities and global people agenda, as well as contributing to the success of the Avon Foundation for Women and its pioneering work.

Susan began her career at IBM, spending 15 years in HR Leadership roles, before moving to global life insurer, New York Life International, as Senior Vice President Human Resources for the International Business. Susan has lived and worked in both Europe and the United States where she spent 16 years of her career.

Susan holds a Diploma in Personnel Development from the University of Portsmouth and a BA Honours in Business Studies from the University of Wolverhampton.

In 2019, Phil was appointed to the role of Group Technology and Transformation Officer. This followed almost a year leading Safelite’s business process re-engineering and technology design work.

Phil brings over 30 years’ experience to the role. Since beginning his career at British Telecom, he has helped public and private sector organisations undergo customer and technology-centric revolutions, including Virgin Media, Specsavers, Aviva Insurance, and Transport for London. He was also Director General CIO for HMRC which, under his leadership, became the most online tax authority in the world.

In 2017, Phil took a break from the corporate world to lead his own consultancy business. During this time, he held advisory Non-Executive Director and interim roles predominantly with startups.

During his career, Phil has won a number of awards and has consistently been rated as one of the UK’s top 25 CIOs.

Renee Cacchillo was appointed President and Chief Executive Officer of Safelite in 2021. Since joining the company in 2011, she’s held a variety of leadership roles in operations, advertising, digital, customer experience and technology, most recently serving as Executive Vice President, Customer Experience Officer. In her current role, Renee works closely with the senior leadership team, positioning Safelite as a People Powered, Customer Driven organization with the purpose of bringing unexpected happiness to people’s everyday lives.

Before joining Safelite, Renee held leadership roles in other fast-paced, consumer-facing businesses, including Bob Evans and Mimi’s Café Restaurants, Bath & Body Works/Limited Brands, Hallmark and Dillard’s Department Stores. She began her career at Accenture, leading large-scale system implementations and change management.

Renee graduated from the University of Kansas, where she earned her BS in business administration and an MBA with an emphasis in marketing.

Gérard Damski is Regional General Manager for the majority of Continental Europe covering France, Germany, Belgium, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Spain, Portugal, Austria and Switzerland.

Gérard joined Belron in September 1997 as General Manager of Carglass® Belgium/Luxemburg. In 2001, he became General Manager of Carglass® France, and then took on the role of Regional General Manager in 2005.

Gérard started his career with Procter & Gamble, in various marketing roles, moving on to PepsiCo Restaurants International as Marketing Director for the Benelux Region initially, and then took on a wider European responsibility.

Gérard is a Commercial Engineer from the Solvay Business School, Belgium.

Nigel Doggett is Regional General Manager for the UK, Ireland, Finland, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Brazil, Australia and New Zealand, as well as our Franchise network.

Nigel Joined Belron in 1999 as Operations Director for Autoglass® UK before becoming Managing Director in 2003. Nigel joined the Belron Executive Team in 2005 and held the role of Managing Director of Belron UK Ltd, covering both Autoglass® and Laddaw® until late 2010 when he took on the role of Regional General Manager.

After graduating from Oxford University, Nigel spent seven years at Mobil Oil before moving to Granada Hospitality as a Regional Director.
